ERNIE ELS PET TREATS
Ernie Els, the former world #1 pro golfer, has a line of pet treats. Yeah, we didn’t know either. But when I found out, I reached out to them to see if we might be able to help with their narrative and packaging. Which wasn’t quite coming through on their existing packaging.
It is actually a really good story to tell, with a portion of the treats’ proceeds going to Ernie’s foundation, Els for Autism. A cause close to home, as his son, Ben, is on the spectrum.
We did a name generation and packaging exploration with them. Unfortunately, a final version didn’t see the light of day, as we ended up not being able to reach an agreement on compensation. Which is a bummer, because our team did a great job.
