I’ve always been the responsible one…

I’m the quintessential travel dad – making the bookings, choosing the seats/rooms, and carrying the bags, documents, and kid with tired legs. (Though my wife usually takes care of the dining choices.)

I feel an overwhelming compulsion to look after our environment.

And I’m a planner. I nerd out on logistics and the idea of diving into labyrinths of thinking.

This has served me well as a thoughtful, award-winning, and yes, responsible, creative leader.
• I became a creative director of a multinational agency when I was probably far too young to do so.
• General manager of that same office less than a year later.
• Been dozens of clients’ most trusted partner.
• Founded and ran a leading creative shop.
• Helped shape and celebrate the creative voice of a country — winning its first Cannes lion.
• I’ve taught, built a mentoring program, and continue to help young talent when/wherever I can.
• Have established, organized, and managed advertising award shows.
• Built departments, offices, and environments for everyone to do their best work.
• Implemented and refined processes for people to work smarter.

The work, and the opportunity to make shiny new things keeps me going, always learning, and ceaselessly curious.
Along with the chance to make more of it with interesting and amazingly talented people every day.

I dig this responsibility.
